Well I guess pretty much anything you do now days cost money. Even walking in your own backyard (costs time LOL)

I recently went to Six Flags Great Adventure…That is a given it will cost, so you pay and go have fun. You got your ticket, parking, food, games, hotel and well gas to get you there.

Now after the Six Flags adventure was over it was time to venture to the Jersey Board Walk. I heard great things about the beach, so I was excited to go check it out. Now I was braced to pay for parking, as that is sort of a given now days. 2 and 1/2 hours for 5 bucks…not to bad considering. NOW the kicker, we head to the boardwalk and walked. As we headed to the steps to walk onto the sand and head to the ocean a guy chirps up and says can I see your badge…confused I said badge? He said yes, then I look at a sign and see that is costs to walk on the beach…I see 2 bucks and say is it 2 bucks? He says no 6.50 a person…OH MY GOD 6.50 to walk on a beach and touch the ocean…I was blown away that is was going to cost 13 dollars for 2 people to go on a beach…who owns it?Last I checked no one owned the ocean, yet someone can block me from touching the sand connected to said ocean.

What next a friggin meter at my drive way that will charge me every time I leave the house? Or if I go on my roof and will that area above my house cost me to stand in it? I understand money is needed to help pay for life guards and such, but to out right charge to go on the beach just blew me away…and pissed me off so much that I would rather not ever go back. I will use up the places I have that are free to roam. To the company that charges to set foot on the beach you can piss off!

I better hurry up and get to bed before I am charged a penalty for not getting there in time.
